Detroit City Skateboards Return Policy


The following products can be returned within 10 days of the delivery date to Detroit City Skateboards for a refund only(no exchanges) minus original shipping fees and a possible 25% restocking fee only if the following conditions below are met along with OUR PRIOR AUTHORIZATION(see below under HOW YOU MAY RETURN A PRODUCT) :

CLOTHING:
All clothing must be include the original packaging with all tags attached, and show no signs of wear, which includes no pet and human hair, no smoke smell, and be clean and unwashed. Once clothing has been worn and/or washed it cannot be returned.

SHOES:
Shoes must be new and unworn and include the original packaging they came in including the shoebox the shoes were shipped in. Shoeboxes must be damage free and not have tape or other shipping labels on them or be dented or torn. Once shoes have been worn they cannot be returned or be returned without the shoebox they came in.

SKATEBOARDS:
All skateboards must be in brand new condition as received and show no signs of wear or skating. Once a skateboard has been used it cannot be returned and if a skateboard has been assembled, its parts cannot be returned. No skateboard deck is completely guaranteed by Detroit City Skateboards. Detroit City Skateboards is not responsible for actual deck color and/or dimensions. No returns are accepted on assembled custom complete skateboards. Broken decks or decks with pressure cracks cannot be returned or replaced. If your deck has delamination defects, please read our Deck Warranty .

VIDEOS:
Videos must be brand new, unopened and in original packaging that they came in.

DEFECTIVE AND NON-DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS:
If a product is defective please send it back along with the included return form explaining the defect. If Detroit City Skateboards determines the product is defective a full refund will be issued including shipping charges. Non-defective products may be returned if they are unopened and in brand new condition. All defective and non-defective product(s) returned must be shipped pre-paid. Due to limited stock, defective and non-defective replacement products are not always available and also are not guaranteed. For defective products, Detroit City Skateboards does not guarantee either an exchange or credit.

PRODUCT SHIPPING ERRORS:
If Detroit City Skateboards errors by shipping the wrong product than the product ordered, then a call ticket will be issued for the product to be picked up at our expense. The customer will be given the choice of either receiving the correct initially ordered product or receiving a full refund with shipping charges included. Due to limited stock, replacement products are not always available and also are not guaranteed.

DAMAGED SHIPMENTS:
For your protection, Detroit City Skateboards purchases insurance coverage from the UPS Carrier that we employ to ensure that the merchandise you ordered arrives undamaged. The charge for this coverage is INCLUDED in the delivery charge that we quote. In the unlikely event that your shipment arrives with physical damage or shortage please do the following:
1. Advise the UPS representative at delivery that there is physical damage (or a shortage) and note the damage (or shortage) on the air bill (all damage/shortage must be stated on the air bill, no damage/shortage claims are accepted AFTER the delivery has been made so make sure to check your merchandise before the UPS carrier leaves).
2. Do NOT sign the air bill stating that the merchandise was received in Good Condition
3. Please retain all shipping materials
4. Please notify our Customer Service Department as soon as possible THRU THE CONTACT US FORM ON DETROITCITYSKATEBOARDS.COM
A representative of the UPS Carrier will contact you to make arrangements for viewing and assessing the damages
In most cases, damaged merchandise is repaired locally by the UPS Carrier.

MONEY BACK GUARANTEES:
Money back guarantees are not offered or honored directly by Detroit City Skateboards for products sold through our company from product manufacturers. Detroit City Skateboards recommends that if you have questions regarding the product's money back guarantee that you contact the manufacturer directly for their coverage information before purchasing the product from us. Detroit City Skateboards reserves the right and does not guarantee or endorse any manufacturer product claims.

HOW YOU MAY RETURN A PRODUCT:
YOU MUST CONTACT US FIRST THRU THE CONTACT US FORM ON DETROITCITYSKATEBOARDS.COM BEFORE RETURNING YOUR ORDER. WITHOUT OUR PRIOR AUTHORIZATION NO RETURNS WILL BE ACCEPTED OR REFUNDS ISSUED FOR PRODUCTS RETURNED OTHERWISE. All in "brand new" condition, in original packaging (see above product return conditions) with our original packing slip included returns, must be shipped prepaid by either USPS, UPS, Federal Express, etc. (NOTE:COD or NON PREPAID SHIPPING from you will be rejected). Also, make sure to SHIP YOUR PRODUCT BACK INSURED and WITH A TRACKING NUMBER. We are not responsible if your package is lost in transit. Complete returns are only accepted which means no partial returns. When the product returns are received, they will be inspected by Detroit City Skateboards. If the product returns are determined to be not in "brand-new" condition and without all of their initial original packaging they will be shipped back to you. Any return discrepancies will result in a delay or partial forfeiture of your refund, so please follow the above return instructions carefully to avoid these kind of problems.

PAYMENT REIMBURSEMENT:
Please allow approximately 3 business days for your return to be processed once it has arrived at our warehouse. As soon as Detroit City Skateboards receives the returned product your credit card will be credited according to the following: defective products are credited in full with initial shipping charges only included and non-defective products will be credited for the product only, less all shipping fees and a 25% restocking fee .
